About Insitu Building Co.

We’re David and Sam (Samantha), the husband-and-wife team behind Insitu Building. We started our business in March 2020, just as New Zealand went into lockdown. David was working as a builder at the time, while Sam was a Property Manager and saw a real need for reliable, qualified builders in the property industry. We decided to take a chance and build something of our own. Since then, Insitu Building has grown from a small two-person business into a trusted building company working with homeowners, property managers, body corporates, and businesses across the Wellington region.

These days, we work on everything from general maintenance to kitchens, bathrooms, extensions, and full renovations. What we enjoy most is taking an old or tired space and turning it into somewhere people are proud to call home. We care about doing things properly, keeping our word, and making the building process as easy as possible for our clients. We’re proud to be a family-run business, and when we’re not working, we love spending time with our family, getting outdoors, and enjoying a good BBQ with friends.
